Tapestry Telehealth Names Mark Hirschhorn to Its Board

An established business executive based in New York, Mark Hirschhorn leads Talkspace, a next-generation behavioral health platform. In April 2020, Mark Hirschhorn joined the board of directors of Tapestry Telehealth.

The announcement followed Tapestry Telehealth’s successful closing of an initial Series A fund-raising round with Sopris Capital in February. Less than a month later, the emerging Covid-19 pandemic underlined the critical role that remotely delivered primary care plays in ensuring seamless healthcare delivery.

Mr. Hirschhorn’s board role was described by a partner at Sopris Capital as enabling a scale-up of customized solutions to skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) nationwide. A major focus is on delivering urgently needed medical care to patients in a reliable and timely manner. The CEO of Tapestry Telehealth also lauded the arrival of the veteran industry leader to the board of a company that has a multi-specialty approach. The firm provides direct access to behavioral health services, specialists, and medical physicians at SNFs and other non-hospital locations.
