The four most important professional tennis competitions, also known as Grand Slam tournaments, are the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open. Only eight male tennis players have won at least 10 Grand Slam tournaments. The following are the three all-time leaders in Grand Slam victories.

1. Roger Federer — A 39-year-old native of Switzerland, Federer has won 20 Grand Slam tournaments dating back to 2003, when he won Wimbledon for the first time. He has since won the prestigious event an additional seven times. He won his last major tournament at the 2018 Australian Open.

2. Rafael Nadal — Nadal is tied with Federer with 20 total Grand Slam tournament victories, 13 of which at the French Open. The Spaniard won the tournament in four consecutive years and has also won the US Open four times.

3. Novak Djokovic — Born in Belgrade, Serbia, Djokovic was the top-ranked player in the world as of December 2020 and finished the year with that distinction in 2018, 2015, 2014, 2012, and 2011. He has 17 Grand Slam victories and last won the 2020 Australian Open.
